"I definitely cannot afford health insurance right now. I'd rather take my chances and use the money for other priorities like rent, car, gas, whatever. If I have to see a doctor, I'll pay out of pocket or charge it and pay later. But, if I had to go to the hospital I don't know how it would be paid for." |

Stay on Your Parents Insurance
This is one of the more affordable
options.
Parents need to determine at what age their dependents
are terminated from their individual or employer-sponsored health plan
policies. Dependent care coverage for children varies widely from ages 19
to 25. Many plans extend coverage until the next verification period. This is
usually the fall following graduation. But some plans terminate coverage upon a
childs graduation from high school or college.
